Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico

ELM in Puerto In Oaxaca, the opportunities continue to grow with a seemingly endless number of villages that do not have a Christian witness. With 155 dialects spoken within the state the challenge is to present the message of Jesus with clarity and develop leaders that can carry the message to areas where non-native speakers are not welcomed.

In many villages the Zapotec and Mixteco children began learning Spanish as a second language when they enter elementary school which gives us the possibility to directly communicate the Gospel with them. After hearing the Bible teachings, a large piñata makes this memorable event in their lives for both young and old. These villages are remote, but these are the place that you find the most need and the new Christians that will eventually take the gospel to those in other more isolated villages that speak their dialects.

Our ministry base is located driving Northwest on the coastal highway leaving Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca and is situated on the Manialtepec Lagoon. A full Bible school facility along with housing and other buildings are situated on this tropical paradise surrounded by wildlife and mangroves. IMG_0030

Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico

From Saltillo, Eternal Love Ministries reaches into the vast number of villages that are distributed throughout the countryside and mountains of the states of Coahuila, Nuevo Leon and Zacatecas. Saltillo also is a fast growing city where local churches are expanding rapidly to keep up with the expanding population.

IMG_2559The “Good News Saltillo” Radio program broadcasts to the metropolitan population of about one million people and is designed to pique the interest of those that do not attend church and persuade them in their relationship with Christ. Up to 130,000 people are encouraged by this upbeat program every week.

We have seen great church growth in the last 32 years that we have been ministering in Saltillo and believe that God has much more for the church to accomplish here.
